Solo Ark farming in ARC Raiders doesn't need to feel like a credit bonfire, even if the shop's trying to tempt you. I used to blow cash on "nice to have" kit and wonder why my runs stalled out. Then I started tracking what actually happens in fights, plus where the money goes. If you're topping up through trades or saving for upgrades like ARC Raiders Coins, it helps to treat every loop like a little experiment: hit, read the feedback, adjust, repeat.

Most players stare at health bars and still don't know if they're winning a DPS race or just feeding armor. The clean trick is the XP pop-up. That number is double the damage you did. So if you see 2,600 XP, that shot was 1,300 damage, plain and simple. You'll quickly spot when a weapon "feels fine" but actually isn't punching through. It also keeps you honest with ammo. If your XP ticks drop hard the moment plating shows up, stop committing and reposition or swap tools instead of mag-dumping out of habit.

Bastions look like a hard stop when you meet them in open ground, but they've got one big weakness: they can't handle you breaking line of sight and going vertical. Bait it, duck behind cover, then get above it and ride the back. The "Deadline drop" works because placement matters more than bravado. Stick the explosive on the central strip, not the shoulder armor, or you'll watch half your damage vanish. No Deadline blueprint yet? Don't tilt. Grab the daily from traders when it's up, or go cheap with Light Impact Grenades. It's a pile of throws, but from behind tall cover you can lob safely and let patience do the work.

Bombardiers aren't as scary once you stop trying to outgun them head-on. They've got around 2,600 HP, sure, but they're ridiculously obedient to Lure Grenades. Toss a lure, and they'll commit to it like you don't exist. Walk in, plant a Deadline low on the body, and take the loot while it's still confused. Rocketeers are another story, but you can mess with their aim: stand on stairs and only show a sliver of your head, and their targeting often breaks long enough to pop the engines. If you've got access to Hornet Drivers, they're great for swatting flyers out of the sky when the angle's awkward.

Your loadout's only "cheap" if you can restock it, so build a route for materials, not just kills. Night Mode Stella is a blueprint buffet if you're thorough—bins, lockers, random corners people skip because they're chasing fights. For raw crafting stock, Bluegate Underground pays out: strip pumps and motors for oil and chemicals and you'll stop feeling broke. And when storms roll in, keep your eyes open for Fossilized Lightning; breaking it down into explosive compounds is the kind of quiet advantage that keeps solo runs steady, especially when you're pacing your purchases around the ARC Raiders Battle pass instead of panic-buying gear you won't replace.
